Perhaps Another Day

Mike Cruz & Inaya Day - Never Had Another Love (Friedmann & Botar Micky S Tribal Touch Mix)

Cute but lacking the umph that I have come to expect from Cruz & Day. I have yet to hear a mix that lives up to the claim that Mike & Inaya have "Done It Again".

Nailing It!

Inaya Day - Got 2 Get Up (Mr. Timothy 2009 Mix)

If every time someone remixed a classic it came out this good the world of dance would be a much better place. This is an absolute must have. There seems to be a magic relationship between Mr. Timothy and the vocals of Inaya. Don't even get me started on the flawless mini scat. I almost came completely undone when I heard this track, it's just too hot for words.

A NEW DAY

Antoine Dessante & Inaya Day - Let There Be (Antoine Dessante Club Mix)

Really strong intro then, this sort lame piano synth loop that in my opinion just doesn't work. It has a really dated simple sound that does not contrast well with the drums. Man I was seriously hoping to be thrilled by this track too. You know I seriously heart me some Inaya but not even her vocals could save this mix. I was disappointed in the Denzel Mix as well. The good news is the track has tons of potential and there are a lot of producers that can save it. I'll be looking forward to hearing some different mixes.

Something Wicked This Way Comes

Inaya Day, Leggz & Femi B - Take Me Up (Rulers of the Deep Remix)

This is a .rar file containing the Club, Leggz & Straightjacket Robinson, Jay Kay, & RULERS of the DEEP mixes. It is all about the super intense Rulers mix! Really a dub with some great vocal samples from Inaya. I have to say, it's really quite fantastic. I would call it dark thundering tech with a progressive edge and tribal essance.

The Leggz & Straightjacket Robinson has a more mainstream appeal, while the Jay Kay lends it'self to the proper house vein. The club is more in line with electro.
