Pump'n Stereo

Paco Buggin Ft. Joy Marquez - Is Stereo! (Ronny G. Pumped Up Club Mix)

A big fan of this track, I was very excited to run across a mix I had not heard before. It's full of tribal deliciousness. At ten minutes long, you have plenty of time to add elements over it or go to the bathroom depending on what kind of DJ you are. Mainstreamers will loath it but those who can see clearly in the dark will adore it.

Late Night

Lula & Phunk Investigation - So Fast & So Deep (Tibal Tarante Dub)

Excellent late night! The first time I heard Tibal was 2003 I believe, with Peak Fiend. All though I do not run across a lot of his mixes, I always listen when I do. This tribal and progressive track carries big time late night intensity with subtle notes of tech. Then of course there is Lula sounding quite wicked with the effects.

On a side note, should you ever meet Tibal, please ask him about the video he made at WMC a few years back and watch the look on his face. ;)

Medicine Man

D-Unity - Shaman (Peter Bailey Mindcontrolled Mix)

It's time to take your medicine. See you have been ill for quite some time and I have found the cure. Dark tribal tek. This .rar file also contains (Richard Dinsdale's Remix) which is running Peter's a very close second place.

Lub Dub

D-Lav, Shlavens & Craig Mitchell - Noises 2009 (Edson Pride Rapido Dub)

Dark progressive house. Great energy and the lub dub boom of a heart beat. This track is about late night, volume, and a great sounding system that doesn't muddy up the low end. In short the track rocks my disco balls.

Bump & Dance

Celeda - The Underground (Jesse Garcia)

Well now, we really are discussing a nightlife classic when it comes to this dance floor crusher. Here we sit a decade later with new mixes by some of the industries best. Jesse gives us a progressive version with a bit of a funky flavor and subtle notes of electro. It was not what I expected from Garcia and I have to say I like it.

Celeda - The Underground (D-Unity Remix)

If you are looking for a darker more tribal version then you'll want to Let D-Unity lead you down.

Not posted here but worth checking out is the (Richard Grey Remix). Richard uses the best part of the original and adds new elements.

Here Comes The Drum

Jamie J Sanchez - Dirty Beats (Original Mix)

What would you get if you put Celeda's - Underground, Danny Tenaglia's - Elements, DJ Paulo's Clean It Up, Oscar G & Ralph Falcon's - The Dark Beat all in a blender with splash of white girl? Check out Jamie J's Dirty Beats and see. Although I like this version, I'm super curious to see who will remix it and what they will bring to this track.

You You & You, No Not You, Can You Move

Jose Spinnin - The Freaks (Caramelitos Mix)

Fierce Latin Progressive House. This track exudes all that is the big-room nightclub sound. Delicious! Your floor will be hot for this, make no mistake about it.

DARK BEATZ

Doped Again - Dance Now (Tamer Fouda)

Intensely Dark! Wicked Fun! Not for the faint of heart.

Here We Go

Chris Special - Lose It (Original)

A nice tech oriented deep house track with some wicked horn action. It lends itself to the dark side and everyone knows the vocal sample.

The Boom

D-Unity - Fuck The System (Original Mix)

I can only assume the title refers to the sound system after you play this track. Easy on the bass big boy! You don't wanna amp out and blow a speaker. Not for the faint of heart, this track delivers serious boom, no vocals, and a bit of a tech edge.

Mysterious Dark Lord of Tribal

Today we discuss an apparition in the world of tribal. *ESCOBAR* Here we have a producer that has multiple original productions released on many high profile tribal labels, a slew of remixes to his credit, appears to be part owner of a label (SOUTHOUSE) and yet not one iota of information about him seems 2xist on the web or any other resource that I can find.

Now I have tried let me tell you. I have gone as far as emailing Brett Henrichsen (no response, what a surprise, perhaps he was too busy prerecording his next *live* set), Sandy Resek said "Hello, He doesn't have a myspace page but see www.southousemusic.com" (Thanks Sandy!), DJW said "Well, first of all....I love his remix of my song, "Ride On Me." I don't know much about him. My label handled the A+R on my track. I think this might be his e-mail ********" (Gracias DJ W, P.S. you rock), and my boys over at exModia said "This guy's unclockable. We know. We're gonna hafta ask around the deejay pools and see who can get us a link."

So I leave it to you Floor Shaker followers. Please educate me. Who is this Dark Lord of Tribal, ESCOBAR, that appears to hail from Chile?

Ghost of Tenaglia Past

Edson Pride - Move It (Karmin Mika U Have 2 Move Mix)

Bang On

DJ Dextro - Resonance (Original Mix)

Well done tribal and progressive track. A late, late, late night sound with a slow subtle build in energy from start to end.

You You You & Not You!

Cytric - Filthy Beats (Original Mix)

This one is for hard core dark progressive fans. Listening to this track is like hitting the NY underground around 4:30 AM. Think Calerone, TKC, Richie Santana, and of course Mr. Peter Bailey. Hum now that I think about it none of these guys are "underground" anymore. Maybe it's NY mainstream and underground for the rest of us.

The Underground Vibration

Copyright Ft. Jazzie B - Roots (Claude Monnet Main Mix)

Deep in nature, dark in delivery, and tribal at it's core, this track can actually be played in a deep house or tribal set. It is not your typical tribal track though. It has that Copyright magic all over it. There are many sampled sounds from the past which is where, I assume, the name Roots derived. This track reminds me of Tenaglia.

Let Me See Your Beauty

Misstress Barbara - Dance Me To the End of Love (Original Mix)

A very dark brooding electronic cover of the Leonard Cohen classic. The vocals are superb. The track can fit into many different set genres; deep, tech, add some drums and even tribal. This one is highly recommended.

By Request

Celeda - Free Your Mind 2009 (Airmale Club Mix)

It's difficult to go wrong with Celeda. This is a tribal and progressive update. Very late night and at 10 minutes, 12 seconds, great if your spinning and need a bathroom break. For DJ Yoshi.

That's What I'm Talking About

D-Unity - Tribalism Continues (D-Unity's Filthy Mix)

Wickedly dark, with punishing drums, and intoxicating with the chant of children, this track F'ing rocks! When I'm talking tribal "That's what I'm talking about".
